Adachi Keiki updates...

My blogs are mostly about Hali'a...now that she is everything I know these days, but here's an update on what's going on with the Adachi keikis (excluding myself because we already know what's going on in my life...anything that's going on with Hali'a)
Jeremy has been working hard in Vernal. He likes the job he has but hates that it's out in the boonies. He also doesn't enjoy the cold Vernal weather. Props to him for sticking it out during the coldest parts of the year.
Here's a picture of where he works/what he works with:

Abigail's in the 8th grade and just told me she's going to be Mayday queen this year...Congratulations! I wish I could be there to sing for you and watch you dance but mom will have to videotape it for me to watch when I come in June! Abi has also taken her braces off recently and has been enjoying life without them!
Here's a picture of her without braces:
I can't believe that my little brother, Jacob, is a senior! The years have passed by so quickly! He has been busy with trying to keep up his grades to graduate in June and has also been busy with sports.
Here's a picture of him and his girlfriend, Ka'ui at their senior prom.
(Thanks for the picture, Ka'ui)

Hali'a the Jukebox

Hali'a is a morning gal...she likes to be up around 7 or 8 am to start her day. This morning she got up at 6 am. This is a little video of what she did for a couple of hours this morning...

On some days she'll talk all day long.

She's our little jukebox...but, you don't have to give her a quarter to have her play you a song:)

Some new pictures of Hali'a

More photos of our baby:
As I said in an earlier blog, Hali'a likes to cuddle with soft or warm things when she naps or sleeps at night. Her favorite to sleep with is this Pooh Bear thingy.

Chewing on her chew toy...

While in Babies R Us, we sat Hali'a down in the Bumbo chair...I think we might need to get one because as soon as we set her in it she started smiling and giggling!

She's getting bigger

I forgot to mention that at her Pediatrician's appointment on March 17th, Hali'a weighed in at 9 pounds, 9 ounces. She's also 20 3/4 inches long!!

Hali'a is 4 months old!!

On Tuesday, March 17th, Hali'a made 4 months!!! It's amazing how quickly time is passing by!
A birthday smile

On her 4-month birthday, she also had her immunization shots. It's a good thing that Uncle Jeremy came to visit cause Hali'a liked hanging out with him! She was facinated with her Uncle's long hair!!
Here's Hali'a this morning (March 19th), watching Robin Hood
I stood in her way and she gave me this look "Um, excuse me, you're in my way!!"

Her favorite snack...her own hands!

Her hand-eye coordination is getting so much better!!
A couple of pictures before she turned 4 months...
This one is of her with her mild beard
After changing her diaper I threw her pants on her stomach and went to the room to grab her a blanket. When I came back, she had pulled her pants up like this...

(catch up) Snow videos with the Adachi's

So I've been meaning to put these videos on in January but I just forgot so I'm posting them now. These videos are of when we went to Big Bear mountain to play in the snow...

Jacob went down most of the slopes. Actually, he went down some pretty big ones but unfortunately I only have the small slope ones!

Here's one of Abi and Jacob trying to go down together...

The sleepy baby

Recently, I have been letting Hali'a cuddle with something soft or warm when she takes naps and sleeps during the night.  She seems to like it and it also helps her to go to sleep quicker.

Here's her sleeping with her burp rag (don't worry, it's clean)

The other day Hali'a was having a horrible afternoon.  I couldn't do anything to soothe her.  I made sure she was fed and burped, I changed her diaper, and tried rocking her and putting her in her swing, but nothing seemed to work.  She was just so fussy and squirmy.  Finally, I figured her clothes might be bothering her so I took off her clothes and as soon as I put her down she fell right to sleep...
It was so cute looking at her, trying to be a big girl and sleeping with her hand under the pillow!

Paul Kim's Birthday Party

On Saturday, March 14th, Jon's friend, Paul Kim, had a birthday party at Scooter's Jungle.  It's this place with blow-up playhouses for adults.  It was pretty fun.  We forgot we had the camera 'til it was about time to leave so we only got a few pictures.  Here they are...

She's ticklish on her chin too!

Hali'a is trying to laugh!!

Recently, Hali'a has been trying to laugh. She's very ticklish and it's fun to see her trying to hard to laugh. One of these she'll get it right and it'll be so funny!

Hali'a is almost 4 months!!

Hali'a is getting big so quickly. I've just started her scrapbook and it's coming out okay. I'll have to start taking more pictures so I have more to show her when she gets older.

Hali-Mei sleeping in her swing...she loves that swing!

After Jon ate his cheese wheel, he formed some joker lips with the wax...

The red lips really bring out her stork bite!

She's such an alert baby. She's always looking around and wanting to see everything!

Some pictures of Me and Hali'a. I just love these cause her facial expressions are so funny!

A visit from Uncle Mac

This past weekend, Uncle Mac visited from St. George and Hali'a loved him!  As you can see, she was so intrigued by Uncle Mac and gave him so many smiles (but we didn't catch it with the camera...sorry).
Thanks for visiting Uncle Mac!  We'll have to get a picture with Aunt Tammy next time!

"Baby Mei-Ling"

Hali'a got this cute shirt from Grandma Mei-Ling's coworker and it was so cute on her I had to take a picture for my mom.
Hali'a is the third Mei-Ling in our family.
