Memorial Day Weekend

For Memorial Day Weekend we met family and friends in St. George, Utah (at Uncle Mac's house) for some fun. We had a great time hanging out with everyone and doing fun things. Here are some pictures (Thank you, mom, for being the photographer, and Jordan for sending them via email!)

Sunday picnic at Zion's National Park

Jordan, Justin, and Jon went hiking all the way up to the top of that weird's hard to see them cause it was really far away. And here they are on their way down...

The little one

So here's what our baby looks like at about 11 weeks. From now on it'll just be getting bigger, but at least it looks like an actual person now! It's only about the size of a fig.

Hilarie, I know you want to see one of those 3-D pictures so we're planning to get one later when we are living in California and when our baby gets a little bigger.

Tagged by Hilarie Goodwin...thanks:)

Gee, thanks for the tag, Hilarie!

A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.
B. Each player answers the questions about themselves.
C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 other people and posts their names.

What were you doing 10 years ago?

Well, I was only 11 years old so I was in 6th grade at Kaunakakai Elementary School.  When I wasn't at school I was playing pool and ping-pong at the Molokai Youth Center where my dad worked.

5 things on my "to-do" list today:

1. Take an exam at school
2. Mail my letter to my grandparents
3. TRY to make dinner for Jon
4. Read my class reading assignments
5. Charge my phone battery

3 bad habits you have:

1. Not filling up the water pitcher if I'm the last to get a drink from it
2. Forgetting where I put things after cleaning
3. Leaving my plate on the coffee table after eating

Places you have lived:

Honolulu, Hawaii
Molokai, Hawaii
Provo, Utah

Things most people don't know about me:

I was born with a rare Asian disease called Kawasaki Syndrome.  I took daily shots of a medicine test drug (cause they didn't have a good cure yet) in the head and I survived.  I was supposed to die around 18 years old but I am a survivor.
I am Hawaiian, Japanese, Chinese, Samoan, Filipino, Irish, and Tahitian.  Yes, that means lots of scholarships for Fall and Winter semesters (which was great when I had to pay for medical bills during my Freshman year)!
I think that's all I would like to share right now.

Julia and Lyle Keanini and Cameron and Lohi Tuitele (can't think of anyone else on here that hasn't already done it)... Have fun!

Boring Blogs

So we put up a couple of blogs that wasn't too popular for some...we just want to let you know that it was a joke...if it was true we wouldn't have shared it, we know there are things that are too personal for the internet. Anyway, we're in Utah, we're bored sometimes, and we have a funky sense of humor so we decided to have some fun. Don't worry, our marriage isn't in jeopardy. We were just tired of reading boring blogs and thought people would be more entertained with a bogus blog. Come on, you didn't think we were that mean to each other, right? We aren't.

Our First Baby Ultrasound

So Jon and I went to my first prenatal was exciting but I was very nervous...i had lots of new experiences in that office...some I'm not so fond of. Anyway, the doctor couldn't find a heart beat so he did an ultrasound and here's the picture...

In the little black egg thing on the top left our baby's curled up. It's head is on the left of that egg thing. It's really small cause it's only 10weeks and 4 days.
I wanted to cry when I saw it and Jon was just's really amazing that our baby is growing inside me...what a blessing!

Halloween 2006 and 2007

For Halloween 2006, it was Jon's brilliant idea to be Street Fighter characters for Halloween.  I was Chun Lee and Jon was Dhalsim.  We didn't go trick or treating, but we did go to a couple of fun parties.  We had a singles ward party and we also went to Lohi and Cameron's Halloween party... they were fun!

For Halloween 2007, Jon had another brilliant idea.....we dressed up like Dark Wing Duck and Launch Pad McQuack.  We only went to Apex Alarm's Halloween wasn't that great but we had some fun.  They released money at the end of the party but it was monopoly money so that was retarded.

The very general "how we met" story...

So I met Jon at his St. Patrick's day pancake party.  He was the dj and was surrounded by hot girls so I didn't get to talk to him after saying hi.  After many days hanging out with him and his roommates, Jon and I started to spend more time together and did fun stuff like buzz his hair, build bon fires in the back yard and have long talks about life.  After about 7 months of the "fun stuff", it became more serious and that was the start of our relationship...I know, that was really general.   Here are a couple of pictures  I found when we were buzzing Jon's hair.
